Professional Bio

Jackson Kincheloe is a harmonica player and multi-instrumentalist hailing from New York’s Catskill Mountains. Raised in a musical family, his sound is shaped by the rich traditions of American roots music, from blues and folk to outlaw country.

A founding member of Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds alongside his sister and bandleader Arleigh Kincheloe, Jackson spent more than a decade touring and honing his skills on harmonica, lap steel, and guitar. He later toured extensively with Ghost of Paul Revere.

He is a sought-after collaborator known for the kind of musicianship that can instantly transform the energy of a room, he has shared the stage with artists including Levon Helm, The Revivalists, Butch Trucks, Jaimoe, Old Crow Medicine Show, Jerry Douglas, Jimmy Vivino, Amy Helm, Gov’t Mule, Oteil Burbridge, Bernard Purdie, and JJ Grey & Mofro.

In 2025, Jackson released his debut solo album, Surviving the Dream, co-produced with Bram Kincheloe. The record draws on a lifetime of musical experience, revealing a sound distinctly his own.
